Working on a UFO from 2007...

 I needed something to work on between clues to Bonnie Hunter's mystery, so I pulled out these quilt blocks. The plan had been to make a two sided quilt as you go king size quilt. Well that was too hard so it got stalled for 10 years, oh my. I now have an extra wide quilt back for it, so now I will get the top sewn together between mystery clues.

 here are my mystery clues 1-5 completed.

This is my favorite Christmas present from my Husband. These are for working on my vintage sewing machines.

I finished quilting this quilt for my Daughter's bed in November. It had been a long time since she had a new quilt.

Working on some of my own quilts....

 This is BQ by Maple Island quilts and I assembled it this week. Only need to get some more of the print fabric to make it twin size.

 Finished my cat fabric collection throw quilt top.

My when Pigs Fly blocks are ready to have their tails embroidered and nostrils applied.

Back home from three weeks in Idaho....

Moving an old project forward.....

I have had this collection of 10" squares for a long time. Between Customer quilts maybe I can get this finished for a TV watching throw for this winter.

The Jellyfish....

This is the pattern for the Jellyfish and some Angelina fibers for sparkle. I am planning to make this wall hanging for my eldest Daughter as she loves jellyfish. We have fond memories of seeing them at the Monterey Bay Aquarium when we lived in California.

Where has this year gone, it is July already....

 These could be jellyfish tendrils...

 Found this hombre interesting for a wall hanging maybe... 

 These dots were under $3, they may go into the wall hanging or a fabric bowl. I have a class coming up in September

I have been busy quilting...

 This is one of two wedding ring quilts up next to be quilted. The other quilt is pink and white.

I have been working on what to quilt in the big white diamonds.

Stuff sent to me by my Sister....

This clock was my Dad's pride and joy. It arrived today from my Sister, as she and her kids didn't want it. All they remember is that it dings every 15 minutes. I remember loving it always during my childhood. My Sister moved my Mom into her home this past week and didn't want the noisy clock, so I rescued it. 

I have been busy....

Working on this lap size quilt.

I bought the background fabric at Quilt Con in May. The rest of the fabric is from my stash.

Quilter's Patch BOM....

I am doing this block of the month for myself. So far I have finished one block and oh my the pieces are tiny. This is going to test my patience. I am not too good with tiny pieces, but flowers are not perfect.

 Scotty helped get these two quilts of mine into the mail after his inspection was complete.

 I made a row of elephants on the top and bottom.

This is the current Customer quilt on my machine. I am so lucky to quilt some of the most beautiful quilts for others.

 This one is almost done. It is an old quilt made from a kit and has blue dots to quilt on. I hope that the dots wash out and also all the stains from being stored for a long time. No matter what happens when it is washed it will be loved for years to come.

Chipper helped to get a picture of the whole quilt.

Now back to quilting...

It has been a busy week...

 I moved my Singer 15-91 into the house from the garage. I had it in the living room so that my Sewing Machine Guy could work on it easier. I had him to the house to do routine maintenance on my long arm. Also had my Jenome 6500 serviced.

The Singer 15-91 now has new wiring and has been adjusted to sew a beautiful stitch. Her clear coat crackled and she needs more wd-forty to loosen up her joints, more cleaning and the cabinet needs refinishing, but it all takes time. I looked back on the blog to find out that I brought this one home last February. Next I will move her to the Kitchen where I can work on her when I have a little more time.

It is done!!!!

I worked on this all day Wednesday and half of today. Now that it is finished I can get to cleaning up my quilting area.

So far so good...

 I really should be on the longarm quilting, but I want to get at least one quarter of this put together. I have all the main blocks done, now I am getting the sashing and border parts assembled.

Just need to sew together the outer neutral four patches. 

Then it is into the quilting room and work...

 Quilt Inspector Chipper woke up to supervise the progress...

One quarter finished!

Rainy day great for quilting....

It has been rainy and dreary all day so I have been making good progress on assembling the mystery parts. I have one quarter section sewn together. Nine blocks done , only seven more to assemble. Then there are all the sashing and border parts, this is going take awhile. So far so good.
