Here are a few of the quilts that caught my eye at the show!

 This was the quilt at the entrance and it looked like a painting.

Thought this was a cute kitty in the garden.

 The picture does not do justice to this quilt, it also has crystals on it.

 This is a quilt on my list to make from a Judy Martin book.

 Very colorful Baltimore album quilt.

 Liked the fancy snowball blocks and applique.

 Loved the feathered star medallion.

 Stunning two color quilt.

 Look at the piecing and the quilting.

The colors on this one just make me smile.

Georgia Quilt Show

I think Chipper said "It's about time that you got home"

The quilt Show was great and I will show the pictures of the quilts tomorrow. I picked up a few new specialty rulers, refills for chalk pencils and fabric panels to use in Christmas exchange gifts.

Primative Gatherings had a booth and I purchased this new book. It has at least four or five projects that I want to make.

First on the list are these cute pin cushions. They had kits available, but I have plenty of scrap wool now, so I will use what I have. The booth had lots of other beautiful kits, threads, wools, and patterns. I was strong and only bought the book and some green wool for flower stems and leaves.

Lastly I was able to look at long arm quilt machines. They had all the major brands and I played with all of them. The Innova system is the one that I liked the best. Now, all I have to do is find money to add a room to the house for it. Well, let's just say it is now on my wish list.........a Girl's got to dream.

Georgia Quilt Show

I'm going to the Georgia Quilt Show at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, GA!

I will be there at 10:00am Friday, is anyone else planning on attending?

I am going to try out some of the Longarm Quilting machines. I am most interested in the Innova and the Gammill. I'll let you know what I find in GA......

This acronym is a new one to me, it is 

"Don't Forget To Be Awesome".

So, don't forget!

I'm working on a Guild challenge. We took two matching fat quarters to the meeting and put one in a bag and kept one. Then the bag was passed around and we each drew one. The challenge is to make something using the fat quarter we brought and the one we drew. We are allowed to add one other color.

This picture of Chipper is so darn cute that I am using it again to show that I mailed off my PIF gifts. So, as soon as they arrive to their destinations, I'll share what they are.
