I entered a drawing at Sew Mama Sew
sometime before I left on my trip to Ohio. Angela's book looked like a good resource for quilting modern style quilts. I was planning to get a copy soon, but had an e-mail waiting for me when I got home telling me I had won a copy.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to learn free motion quilting, on a home sewing machine or long arm machine. Angela does a great job of explaining how to stitch her designs. She also gives tips on where and how to use the designs.
She even shows ideas of how to combine quilting designs.
In the last part of the book she goes into using the designs on Modern Quilts. There are lots of beautiful pictures of quilted quilts.
I love Angela's way of explaining how she comes up with her designs by drawing in a sketch book. I now plan to follow her example.
