The last of the color blocks arrived on Thursday.
So, I sewed them into half square triangle blocks (40 color blocks = 80 half square triangle blocks) and today, Friday, I put them together in a 8x10 layout.
I think that I may add a piano key border from my scrap bin. I'm still working on the owls........Marj
I have worked on getting the top finished this week. Now I need to work on getting sketches done for adding some applique Owls and at least one Cat.
The Inspector always knows when I go to get the camera. I had to move his bath elsewhere in order to take the picture of my finished top's corner.
Now I'm off to work on the Owl sketches..........Marj
Grady inspected the layout of my blocks, I guess he approves.
Now I am finished constructing the blocks and have started putting the rows together.
Next will be to figure out the artwork........some applique with Owls that match the ones on my border fabric and a cat silhouette hiding on the border somewhere.
