FNSI report...

I ended up choosing to work on my Regan Tote bag and got pretty far along. I just have to get some more fabric tomorrow for handles and some thread for the quilting on the outside of the bag. I finished the inside pocket and the outer pockets, so after a trip to AQS I will be able to finish the tote Saturday. Yea!

This afternoon I finished stitching my flower blocks for month 4 of my Lisa's flower Garden BOM, now I am current with this one till next month. It feels good to be caught up on all my BOM quilt blocks.

Lisa's flower Garden

Month 4 package arrived today.

Now I have four flower blocks and five nine patch blocks to make.

I went out today and found some thread to finish this block and the other three in this group, so I will be at least caught up to the current month of the BOM by the weekend. I will be stitch, stitch, stitching for the next few days.

I'm almost caught up!

These flower blocks finish at four inches. I love working with the wool and the stitching goes pretty fast.

I now have half of my blocks done, only six more to be caught up. The top picture is closer to the true color, the bottom picture is very washed out.

I saw this block layout in a book somewhere and decided that it would work with the 2 1/2" squares that my Mother sent me. She had cut a bunch of them from her stash to make a scrappy quilt. After she made three quilts, she still had a bunch of squares left over. She sent me the leftovers, isn't she sweet? lol  So, I am using these 2 1/2" squares plus 2 1/2"x6 1/2"rectangles to make 10 1/2" blocks. The only problem is that the bag of squares seems like it does not become smaller, it seems to grow.
