Here is the quilt that I am working on...

 This pretty wall hanging belongs to Barbara. Her input to the quilting was she is going to do a wavy border and she does not want continuous curve quilting in the squares.

 After looking at the fabric, I saw flowers and leaves. I had to practice making the leaves to go in the setting triangles, as the first ones I did were not very pretty. Now I have ripped out the first ones and am ready to try again.

The backing on this wallhanging is very light, but I was afraid that using light thread on the back would show up on the front. So I am being brave and using dark and letting all my quilting show. As long as nobody looks too close it will be OK.

More progress....

I see adding three little stars to the right, left and below the eagle. May add tiny stars to the corners also. Once the stars are done I can connect and fill with background.
I looked at the rules again and found that the finished quilt is to be 60"x 72". So tomorrow I can finish putting the top together. Since this is a competition, I will not show any more of the quilt until it is shown at the HMQS show in May 2014.

Design floor...

 I am progressing on my QOV challenge quilt.

Saw these stars on a pattern that I bought a couple years ago. I have not been able to find the pattern, but the parts were easy enough to lay out on graph paper. Next up are the letters to spell "Honor".
