Here is a peak at the new space that will house my Crown Jewel.
I will now be able to hang up quilts after I tweak the clips on these drapery rings. Do you see the handy shelf that will hold my extra batting? I am excited to start the new year in a dedicated quilt room. I will still be piecing at my machine in it's same space, but the long arm will no longer be in my formal dinning room. Time will tell if this helps me to get more productive quilting time...
This is a little blurry, but it shows how tight the space will be in the new Long arm studio. The best part will be that I can shut the door and the Quilt inspectors will not be able to enter when I am not there to supervise.
Here is the other end of the room where I will be able to navigate around the end of the frame. Tomorrow I should be able to finish leveling the table and get the machine back on it's rails. Then to the organizing of supplies and tools. I hope to be quilting by the weekend.
