New Book

I was able to get a copy of this book (Garden Club Quilts) used from Amazon. I love getting older books used for good prices. The patterns in this book are easy country applique. I probably will not get to any of these until Fall, but in the meantime they are fun to look at.

This weekend we are getting company for Saturday and Sunday. I also have my quilt guild meeting on Monday night, we are having a skills fair, so I will try to ge pictures to share with you. Until then have fun quilting!...........Marj

Basket Progress

Today was a good quilting day, I was able to finish nine baskets. I now have eleven done and seven more to make. I think that they will be much prettier when the flowers are added.

Another Basket

I have been a little scattered lately, I made another basket, then I tried a new block from Quilt Mania No64. I am thinking that the yellow and brown looks like a sunflower. The block measures 8 1/2" I may try to make it bigger. The baskets I am making measure 12 1/2" and each one is made from a different basket weave. So tomorrow I will try to get more baskets made.........Marj
