Barb was able to get her top all pinned and ready to sew the last two corners at home.

 Pam was finished with her top today. I really enjoyed helping all the ladies that took my Curvaceous Bargello Class get their quilt tops done. They all have turned out beautiful.

Fun Friday!

I went to Augusta today to get some info on finishing up the setup of the Crown Jewel and get some supplies.

When I asked my first question about how to fit the leaders that I bought to the length of the frame, I found out that the leaders I received were the wrong ones. They were too long, so the correct ones were ordered and will come next Wednesday. So, to make a long story short, I will have to practice on my frame without the fancy leaders, if I want to quilt something this weekend.

 Also stopped in at JoAnn's and picked up a few things.

Progress has been made...

Comet moved out of his preferred window spot when I moved the frame away from the wall.

The frame is on sliders so that I can put it against the wall when not in use as my space is limited. I now have it all assembled and will have to get a few things before I can actually try it out.

How is it going?

This was yesterday morning.

 This was yesterday around 9:30 am. The loveseat was picked up by the Salvation Army. Now there was space to start assembling the frame for the Crown Jewel.

 This is how far I got on the assembly yesterday. The biggest hold up is getting the long black plastic pieces into the metal tracks, two 120" long pieces that do not slide easily into the groove. With my husbands help by the end of the evening three of the black pieces were in.

The last piece of track is going to be the hardest, because I tried to help by straightening it out. But I just ended up putting kinks in it, which will make it even harder to slide into the groove. So my project today is to get this last one done, so that by at least tomorrow I can put the machine on the frame. Wish me luck and a lot of brute strength to get this accomplished.......Thanks!
