Quick Curve Blocks....

I got the blocks for the table runner together today.

Chipper helped cut out a table runner using the quick curve ruler.

Getting ready for retreat.....

 This week I decided that I had to start getting ready to go to my Friends retreat that takes place May 7th-10th. I leave on May 3rd to fly to Idaho. I have had the strips cut for this bargello since my Florida vacation last summer. Since it is a wall hanging size I decided that I should take one other project.

This is a stack&wack quilt that I helped a friend start many years ago. She got frustrated by how her blocks came out and put it aside. I picked it out of her closet about two or three years ago, meaning to finish it for her. Well, it has set long enough, I feel bad that I have had it so long, so I will use my retreat time to get it finished. Then I'll surprise her after I get back and quilt it for her too since it has taken me so long to do what I said I would do.

Tomorrow I will start packing, right after I get my laundry done...

Fabric search...

 I have had this fabric for a very long time and just decided that I wanted to use it in a quilt. I don't have enough to fussy cut the cats for the blocks.
