This weekend's project...

 Here is the next quilt on my machine. It is Carolyn's beautiful string zigzag that is going as a gift to one of her Grandsons.

 We decided to put Geckos on it and a few other critters and dragonflies. I wanted big geckos, so I had to blow some up from an Anne Bright panto and the other things came from quilting books.

I am stitching all the Geckos first with lime green thread and then my plan is to thread paint on them with glow in the dark thread from superior threads. Doing something like this makes me wish I had a bigger throat on my machine. 

Back to my fun quilting project...

Finished Nancy's quilt....

I really enjoyed working on this bright cheerful child's quilt.

I used an Anne Bright panto called Ocean View.

Design Wall/floor Monday...

 I started a new quilt. I bought this as a kit at HMQS in May. I fell inlove with it. Since it will hang on the wall I am going to do raw edge applique.

Trout/Fishing quilt...

 I found this fishing motif in the Anne Bright book "Simply Continous made easy". I enlarged it 50% bigger and made my own panto.

Ginny's quilt is now finished and it looks good.
