Here is what I have been quilting...

Scotty found a way into the quilt protective blanket that I use to keep him off customer quilts. He thought it would be fine as he was on the blanket and not on the quilt.

This was my friend Carolyn's Turning Twenty quilt and I'm sure that she didn't mind , since she has cats of her own.

This Rail Fence quilt was made by Barbara as a gift for a Nephew who is graduating from High school and will take it to college in the fall.

I was able to deliver this quilt center to Pat so that she can now add her borders. She loves cats and I'm sure she appreciates the help I got from mine.

I almost forgot to show you this great sign that my Girlfriend's DH made for me in Idaho.

People, places, things....

I had the pleasure of getting to meet and visit with my Blogger Friend Marjorie . She lives near the Knit One Quilt Too quilt shop that my Girlfriend has her classroom located. We had a fun but all to short visit, it is so good to be able to meet in person.

This was a new quilt shop to me that was located in Shoshone, Idaho. It's called Salli's Back Porch Fabrics. The owner also is a massage therapist and hairdresser.

Loved this sign that said"Fresh Country Hair". It was really windy outside.

Inside Salli had a very nice selection of Moda fabrics.

Even some craft supplies.

She also had some flannel and reproduction fabrics.

 Salli's DH makes garden art from reclaimed metal objects. If you are ever in this area stop by and check it out.

Retreat pictures...

These are pictures from my retreat in Jerome, Idaho.

My Girlfriend hosts this retreat and it is the best that I have ever been.

 This is the first project that I worked on.

These are the blocks that I assembled from my Lilac Hill layer cake, I am still not sure of what layout to do.

 This was made using some Jewel box ten templates that my friend allowed me to try out. They turn out quite interesting and are about fifty inches square.

This is my Girlfriends jewel box starting.

 The above pictures are a sample of projects that were getting finished during our time at the retreat.

These are some of the table runners that my friend taught us to make while at the retreat.
This was the third time for me to attend this retreat and all the Quilters are fun to spend time with and are very talented. I plan to save to save money during this year so that I can go again next year.

 Here are the last of my quilt pictures from HMQS 2012.

This butterfly is made with the 10 degree ruler that I made my spicy table runner with.

I took this picture because one day I would like to make a feathered star quilt.

This was a very detailed applique quilt.

Interesting stack-n-wack.

I have a picture of a rabbit that I think would make into this style of quilt, maybe I could even design something else on graph paper. Great inspiration.
