Happy New Year everyone!
My goal for this year is to quilt one of my own quilts each month. As a long Arm quilter I get busy with Customer quilts and put my own quilt tops aside. So this year I plan to put myself into the schedule. I will count the existing tops in my cupboard and post how many are complete and left sitting un quilted, just for kicks. I also have a large stack of my Mother's finished quilt tops and need to probably need to attack those first....
I have also decided to join in Judy Laquidara's Group of like minded Quilters that are trying to get a handle on their stash of fabric.

I just received an order of neutral fat quarters from One Sister
to use as background fabric for an on going project and a new project.
The on going project is my Gardens of the King quilt
The new projects are....
I plan on starting the La Passacaglia quilt soon and love the blocks in the Yoko Sato book.

I saw the "Our Home Town" quilt at Market in 2015 and decided then to put it on my list of quilts to make. When I saw the "Completely Crazy" book I knew that I wanted to make the
'When Pigs Fly' quilt. I also knew that ordering a kit for it would be the best way to get the fabric for it. The kit is on backorder, but that is okay as I am not ready to make it yet.
Wow! I have a lot of fun ahead of me this coming year. Hope you are looking forward to your 2016 quilt projects too.
