Dear Friend gone

It is a very sad night at our house tonight. Our little pal Grady was taken to the vet for the treatment of a kidney stone/blockage and he passed away unexpectedly. He was my youngest daughter's first pet and my quilting buddy. He will be very much missed.

Almost time to draw a winner

I procrastinated all week about putting the border on this quilt. Then yesterday I sat down and did the math to see if I had enough blue for the inside border. Sure enough I had only scraps to spare, but there was just the amount left to make the border with a few inches to spare.

 

Now the info that you really want to know...... I will draw the winner before I go to bed tonight.

My other good news is that the first quilt that I took to Laurens to be quilted is finished. I am going to pick it up tomorrow.
