My dear SIL arrived yesterday and now she and my MIL are staying at their empty house waiting for their furniture to arrive. It is supposed to be here around the 16th-18th. They decided it was a 'good' idea to buy air beds to sleep on. I am letting them do it their way for at least one night. When I talked to my BFF she offered to loan me a real bed for my 81 year old MIL, which my DH can pick up and deliver to her tomorrow. It is such fun trying to 'help' family. I will be helping tomorrow by cleaning her kitchen & sun room floors, so the grout lines can be sealed before the furniture arrives. If I survive this moving experience I will get to go to the Charlotte Quilt Show on Friday March 20th with my BFF.
I found a few hours tonight to finish the layout and fusing of my rooster.
Now I just have to figure out what I want to do for the frame and borders. It is to be a kind of oriental theme. Most of the fabrics came from scraps of my #1D's quilts and she likes roosters. I'll let you see more later.........Marj

and Maureen finished putting theirs together on a pressing sheet ready to be fused on to a background of their choice. I am almost finished and will post a picture of mine soon. 
I put away all of my large projects so that my kitchen table could be cleared for the impending visit of my Mother in-law. But I still had time before she arrived to sew. So while I was waiting I worked on my Busy Bee Traveling Quilt. I also think that it will get some free pieced words for a border. Now all I have to do is get my Mother in-law settled in and I can get back to my normal life of quilting........Marj
