SC Girls with Longarms 2013 Quilt challenge.....

The following quilts were from the quilters in my Longarm group. We all used the same layout to make the quilt and then quilted it to show off our talents. They were all gorgeous. To see pictures of the Quilters go to One Loose Thread and click on the card.

Sorry that I did not write down the names of who made each quilt. They were all winners and we all learned a lot by participating in the challenge. I am looking forward to next years challenge, it will be presented in our January meeting.

Another peek at my longarm challenge...

Well, it is not perfect, but it is finished quilting. Next I need to add a label, binding, and sleeve. I am happy that I have plenty of time left to finish, as I need to hand it in on Saturday. 

I'm working on my challenge quilt...

And it is a challenge...I have treated my quilt top as a sampler and there are a lot of spaces to fill up with quilting. The quilt is approximately 40" x 60". So, back to quilting, I need to have it done by next Saturday. Nothing like a deadline and many months of procrastination to add stress to finishing a project. Hope to get back to some piecing soon.
