I actually returned from my visit to Ohio on August 30th. I had a nice visit with my Mother and my Sister got to have a break. It is hard seeing a Parent get older and less able to live on their own.
My next trip was an over night trip to visit my eldest Daughter in Macon, GA. She is doing great living on her own and she even likes her job.It was good to see her doing well on her own.
When we got back home we got to have a Family reunion with my Husband's Mother's three Brothers plus their Spouses and her Sister.Also three of the Cousins that are around the same age as my Husband.It was a really fun visit and we plan to do it again next year, maybe meeting up in Las Vegas.
Since I have been home I have been busy getting my last row done for the Row Robin done as Monday is the Guild meeting. I was also able to put together this table runner like one that my Mother showed me on my visit.
I picked up this pretty fabric in Ohio for a Mystery quilt class that I am participating in at the QSC retreat in October. I got the cutting instructions in todays mail.
This weekend I plan to get some quilting done. I will try to get pictures up soon. Hope that you are having a good weekend.
