This vintage quilt top came to me with two others from a Lady whose Husband has a terminal cancer. These tops were found in a closet and were pieced by his Mother. He requested his wife (a non-quilter) to please have them quilted so that he could give them to their three Granddaughters. A Friend of mine goes to the same Church as this Lady, so she contacted me and I got them quilted. My Friend is stitching the binding on the other two. Hopefully I can get a picture of the other two quilts when they are done. Each one was a different pattern.
The quilting on these quilts really brings them to life. I am so glad that my other customers are so flexible with their quilts waiting to be quilted until after these are done.
I am leaving to go to Atlanta, GA tomorrow. I am attending the Quilting Live Expo and will be taking quilt classes with Sue Patten. These are hands on classes and I will share with you what I learn.
