Finished one more customer quilt, next up....

This beautiful sampler quilt belongs to Marge M. and she chose to put flannel in for batting. It was easy to quilt, but is very flat.

Here are some close ups of the blocks. I used the pantograph Labyrinth.

With this one finished I can start the QOV to have ready for my Guilds meeting October 14th.

I like how it turned out and now I am off to get the backing fabric.

Change in plans...

These are blocks that I got in an exchange and the scrappy little squares are some leader ender stuff. This is now the next quilt of mine to get quilted and finished for hanging at my Friends booth at QSC Retreat. It is also a donation quilt that will go to Quilts of Valor. Next is to piece a back for this quilt.
Opps I went to the QOV website and found that my top is too small, so now I will be adding a border.

Found these leftover stars and this striped fabric in my stash that will add the needed borders. Am now thinking of going and getting the backing with a JoAnns coupon today.

Zigzag back...

Just finished assembling the Zigzag back for one of my quilt tops. I am trying to get this one quilted by the end of October. So that I can enter it in our Guilds local quilt show in November. Tomorrow I will see if I can trim it or add triangles to make it square.

More quilting and start of a quilt back...

This is Charlene K.'s jelly roll quilt.

 I was asked to just do a meander on it. It really gets me in the mood for fall, love the colors.

After the quilt was finished I started on making a back for one of my own quilts. I had a large piece of the purple left over from the quilt top, but it was not big enough for the back, so I had to add to it. I have always wanted to try making a chevron quilt from squares and decided this is my chance. My squares are 9" finished.
