I have been busy planning for a class with Priscilla Hair on Tuesday March 13th. It's called what can you do with a nine patch block ?
Chipper helped pick out some boy fabrics to use. I'll make a charity quilt from what I learn in the class, then when I see how I like the technique, I will make something for my self.
This bag of fabric came my way by a Friend who's Friend was cleaning out her sewing room. There are flannels and children's prints that will make great backs for charity quilts. I feel so lucky to pass these on to some great causes.
My other distraction, other than the kitties, has been deciding whether to go on my friends Quilting with the monks retreat in Jerome, Idaho (May 7-11) and on to the HMQS in Salt Lake City, Utah (May 10-12). I finally decided to go, so then I had to find a plane flight and decide what classes to take at the show. I am almost done with all the planning and will get back to quilting this week.
