Center of Easy Street Finished...

I guess it is Scotty's shift for inspecting tonight. Hopefully Chipper will be able to inspect the borders tomorrow.

 Look what came in the mail today... it's Di Ford's new book.

I am trying to not drool on it, cause I am loving all the quilts in it. There are sixteen patterns to choose from. Some are more challenging than others, but they are all so beautiful. Mostly I will have to gather and find fabric for awhile to be able to make one. If you get a chance to get this book it is worth the high price. I purchased mine at Homestead Hearth and they were very prompt in shipping it to me.

Easy Street almost done....

All parts are done, now I just need to finish putting them together. I have the outside borders selected, but still need to decide on a back. I think maybe some minky in turquoise.

Comet just wants attention. Doesn't he look handsome with his summer haircut?

Back to 'Easy Street'.....

Since I had to order some thread to match the next quilt that is up to quilt. I was able to try and figure out where I left off on 'Easy Street'. I need to make some more of some of the units. But I was able to make one block A, only fifteen more...

I put together one Block B, only eleven more....

I now have all the parts made and these four corners put together. Now I am going to put this away and clean my kitchen to be ready for my  company to arrive tomorrow. Hope that you are having a great Holiday weekend!
