I have seen this awesome quilt on some Australian blogs and became fascinated. It is a quilt made from pentagons and some other fill pieces. I was able to find a pentagon template in my stash, trace it, then shrink it on my copier. Then I played around to see if I could figure out how to draw the layout. Next I think I will find some bigger paper and see if I can draft a more accurate drawing and maybe make some templates to play with. This might be a fun quilt to make from scraps kind of similar to the hexagons that I see everywhere. Just as hard to put together, but less boring by being more than one shape.
