Saturday's progress

Found this fabric in my stash when looking for fabric to make backs for the charity quilts. So most of today was spent coordinating backs with the tops that were made last month.

This top was made from leftover blocks that my Mother donated to the cause.I plan to spend a little more time working on backs and then start on putting together binding strips.

Back from the Quilter

I picked up this quilt yesterday, trimmed it this morning and will have the binding on soon. I am thinking of entering this one in our quilt show in November.

I hope that you can see the wonderful quilting in this picture. Betsey Dinger does a great job of putting the design that matches the fabric into her quilting.

I found borders for my Quilts for Kids Charity quilt and I think that Chipper approved.

I'm Back!

I've returned from my trip to Idaho.

My friend's daughter had a beautiful Wedding.

Congratulations Amy & Ed !

I actually arrived back to South Carolina last night at midnight.

To my surprise I had a package waiting for me from Sharon

Chipper of course was very curious to see what she made me.

There were lots of wonderful things. The zippered mesh bag will be great for carrying tools to quilt classes. And the Hobo bag will be very useful too. Sharon also included some goodies to eat and the tape measure will be handy to shop with. Then if all that was not enough she included this very cute fabric panel.

Thank you so much Sharon for the wonderful PIF gift. Now I will have a really good example of what to send with the PIF gifts that I have finished sewing.

As soon as I get rested from my travels I'll show you some fun new projects.
