Quilter's ADD acting up....

On Friday I got distracted and decided to start this wall hanging.

I plan to work on this today, it is a pattern that I purchased on the Shop Hop.

While cleaning up and putting away a pile of quilt books that I had out, I found this pattern. I had saved it a long while ago. I had planned to use this fabric for a medallion star quilt, but when I saw the other smaller star pattern, that I had saved out of an old magazine, I decided to maybe change. So today just before starting the Apple wall hanging, I am going to make one block of the smaller star to see if I like it. I still want to make a star medallion quilt, but am now leaning toward a feathered star for the center. And it will probably be in shades of blue and white or beige.

It was a very good class, all the ladies were able to get a few blocks done while at class today. I love seeing the colors in the blocks come together. I have another class of 4 ladies putting their blocks together on Saturday March 19th. Can hardly wait to see their blocks.

Remember this....

I have been teaching nine Ladies how to make this Quilt that I won a first place ribbon in last November's local quilt show. So far they have started making their strip sets. In the next class they are going to start assembling the blocks. I will take pictures of their blocks as they finish them so you can see the variety of fabrics they used.
