I have been making my bow ties out of reproduction and shirting fabric scraps.
I counted up the finished blocks and there were one hundred and eighty. I have not decided how many I need to make. The block I tried out uses nine and finishes nine inches.

Now I got to get back to the bag project, I am trying to finish it today.

Your bow ties are so beautiful in those fabrics. I love them! Is that a sample block with black sashing off to the left in the bottom photo?
